I believe that all leaders can benefit from coaching. Anyone who has an open mind and is willing to do the hard work of introspection and self-development is an excellent coaching candidate. I know firsthand that being a leader is often a lonely job. I am now the coach I wish I had when I was navigating the challenges of leading an organization.
Coaching intensives last five months, meeting twice each month. We will partner to develop a coaching plan tailored to you and your circumstance. Together, we will navigate the path toward greater awareness and impact. If you think you don’t have time to commit to coaching, a little secret is that coaching creates greater capacity. Coaching is a gift and one of the biggest investments you can make in yourself and in others.
This level of coaching is available for clients who have completed an individual coaching intensive. I offer monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly accountability check-ins on an annual basis. The only thing that changes behavior is practice. Many clients find that just knowing they have a checkpoint meeting with their coach motivates them to use the tools and practices received in the coaching intensive. Practice deepens awareness, connection, and possibility.
High performing teams get more accomplished in less time than other teams. There is a big difference between an affiliated group of high performers and a high-performing team. Effective teams focus on results, embrace accountability, master conflict, achieve commitment, and build trust. You may recognize these tenets of effective teams as the work of Patrick Lencioni. I am a believer in the power of this work and have used it with tremendous results in leading teams. It is simple to understand but hard to do.
Teamwork is a sustainable competitive advantage because it is rare. I will work with your leadership team to achieve better results. Team coaching engagements include team and individual team member assessments, individual team-member coaching, a full-day offsite team workshop, and a post-workshop check-in with the team leader and with the team.
The important aspect of any assessment or stakeholder interview is the feedback and perspective obtained. Self-awareness is the essential starting point for growth and change.
All coaching engagements include stakeholder interviews. Assessments are offered as enhanced tools based on the engagement and the readiness level of participants.
I have taken and used many assessments in my career. The assessment that has been most impactful for me is the Enneagram. The distinction between Enneagram and most other assessments is that the Enneagram uncovers the motivation behind behaviors. It goes deeper than other assessments and thus provides greater opportunity for understanding. It also provides a map for growth. I am a certified Enneagram practitioner and favor this assessment in my practice. I am affiliated with practitioners of every other available assessment.
